Shri B R Betaiah Shetty, the founder of ‘Mahendra Perfumery Works’, was a man of humble beginnings.He started selling Incense Sticks in his early teens and in 1961, he started Mahendra Perfumery Works, serving just a handful of customers.
But one factor set the Company apart from the crowd around. It’s the emphasis on Quality. With his highly qualified sons joining him, Mahendra Perfumery was infused with new energy and soon became a household name. Since then, the Company, renowned for its premium blends and exotic fragrances, has captured the market and hearts of our customers alike.
Thanks to the advent of the third generation of the family into this fragrant heritage, the Company is scaling new heights. With the new state-of-the-art automated packaging and production setups spread across 50,000 sqft, our understanding of diverse needs of customers has led us to our long range of products including Scented Bathis, Masala sticks, Flora sticks and Dhoop. Not new to innovation, our flexible packaging methods and automated lines have given way to an installed production capacity of over 2,00,000 packets per day, that could be increased with ease based on demand patterns. Our strict quality tracking mechanisms ensure that only the best sticks are delivered to the customer.
Our markets have spread deep into the roots of the country, covering more than 1,500 cities and 7,000 towns. Our rich history of nearly six decades, combined with blend recipes handed over three generations, have safeguarded and enhanced the premium quality of our products.Through our export wing ‘Betco International’, the Company caters to several markets across the world.
